Dear Lord,
as increases in the cost of living
cause anxiety and hardship for many,
look with compassion on the vulnerable,
particularly those who will struggle to pay for necessities,
to heat their homes,
feed their children and pay the mortgage/rent …
Thank you for the gift of aid agencies
who strive to help those in need,
thank you for food banks and charity shops
and bless all those who give of their time to help others.
Be with all who need your presence and your peace, now and always. Amen.
